Pet Mat is best used on a flat surface.
Placing Pet Mat on soft cushions or very soft furnishings can cause creasing or folding in the material. In time, particularly with heavier animals, this can damage the heating system.
We recommend using a light blanket or towel on top of Pet Mat for the most comfortable result.
Cleaning your Pet-Mat
Pet-Mat™ can be cleaned by washing with warm soapy water. Unplug your pet mat from the low voltage transformer (and therefore from the power supply). Wash with a soapy sponge or spray disinfectant. Once cleaned, make sure your pet heating pad is completely dry before plugging it back into the transformer.
